James R. Wendelken, MD, is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department. He received his Bachelors of Science from the University of Tulsa and his MD from the OU College of Medicine. His internship was served at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. His residency in surgery and urology was completed at the OU Health Sciences Center. His fellowship in reconstructive urology at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine was completed in 1978. He has served as Chairman of Urology at St. Anthony Hospital since 1988. He has actively participated in the urology resident training since starting his practice here in Oklahoma City. Dr. Wendelken is a leader in the South Central Section of the American Urologic Association. He is a member of The Urology Group - a single specialty group practice providing multiple site urological services in an urban environment.
